Shannon LaFontaine LL.B. is an Associate Lawyer at Garfin Zeidenberg focussing on family law. Shannon was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021 after articling at a general practice, where she obtained experience in most areas of law. It was there that she developed a passion for family law, which has only grown stronger since joining our family law team in August of 2021. Shannon is prepared to assist clients through the trials and tribulations of separation, divorce, custody, and support disputes with the least amount of headache possible.
Shannon graduated from the University of Adelaide Law School, where she received awards for Best Moot Team and for obtaining the highest mark in Strategic Space Law. While attending law school, Shannon volunteered at a legal advice clinic, where she assisted clients through small claims procedures. Prior to law school, Shannon obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and public policy from the University of Guelph.
Outside of the office, Shannon can be found on long walks with her dog, in the gym, or curled up with a novel.
